Selection Procedure
In order to be considered for one of The Electrical Trades Center apprenticeships, a candidate must:
1. Fill out the application form completely, printed in legible ink. The application must be signed and dated by the applicant and forwarded to The Electrical Trades Center. We cannot accept unsigned or faxed/copied documents.

2. Have your official transcripts sent to The Electrical Trades Center from your educational institution(s). We cannot accept "unofficial" transcripts issued to former students; the transcript must bear the proper stamp or seal.

a. Official high school transcripts must be received - even if you did not graduate from high school.
b. It is strongly suggested that you forward transcripts from other educational experiences you may have had (i.e. college, trade school, military). These transcripts are not required, but it is recommended that you submit these documents if you would like these experience to be considered by the committee.

3. Forward photocopies of the following documents:

a. Birth Certificate (if you qualify for an interview, you will be required to bring the original to the interview session).
b. High School Diploma or GED certificate (if you qualify for an interview, you will be required to bring the original to the interview session).
c. If you are a United States Armed Services veteran and you wish consideration of your military service, a photocopy of your DD214 should be forwarded.
