Advanced Standing Program
Recognizing there are individuals who have
been employed in the electrical construction industry in a
less structured environment who will be interested in applying
for an apprenticeship, The Electrical Trades Center will grant
on the job training hour credits to those individuals who
provide documented proof of previous experience in the electrical
construction industry once that individual is accepted into
a program. Likewise, a pedantic placement test is available
to anyone accepted into a program who wishes to advance standing
for technical academics. Also students with prior college
experience can request to have those courses evaluated to
possibly meet some of the Associates Degree general education
requirements.
